It is preparing to offer international SMS (short message service) very shortly as per directive of BTRC and planning to introduce MMS (multimedia service) next time.

MIR CERAMIC LTD. started its operation in December, 2003. Established at North Mawna, Sreepur, Gazipur, it is fully equipped with Italian machinery from SACMI (Manufacturer of world’s no.1 Ceramic tiles machinery) who has provided a complete set of machinery with total technology and body formulation for the tiles on turnkey basis under the whole time supervision and guidance of specialist technicians from SACMI. Colorobbia Espana of Spain and Ferro U.S.A. the two world famous companies have provided the glaze, colour and stain of the products along with technology on turnkey basis. Mir Ceramic Ltd. is producing different types of ceramic tiles e.g. single fired wall tiles, floor tiles, Mirror Polished tiles, Glazed Polished tiles, matt glazed tiles, porcelain tiles, salt & pepper tiles (locally termed as homogenous tiles) strictly conforming to CEN (Committee European de Normalization) standard. The tiles have no pinholes and waviness, resulting in smooth and glossy surface of the glazed side. Ceramic tiles of Mir Ceramic Ltd. have the highest bending strength with lowest water absorption with strict dimensional uniformity. Due to the quality and affordable price, Mir Tiles have attracted the attention of public & private users & the production is going on in full swing to its maximum capacity. Mir Cement Ltd. has established 1200 TPD Cement Grinding Plant at Murapara, Narayangonj by the side of river Sitalakhya and started its operation in January, 2003, with a view to catering the needs in-house requirement as well as to manufacture good quality international standard Portland gray cement for commercial purposes.

Mir Concrete Products Ltd.

Mir Concrete Products Ltd. started production of Ready Mix Concrete and Concrete blocks in 2004

Mir Concrete Products Ltd. came into being with a view to ensure quality construction works and maintaining environmentally harmless concrete products. Mir Concrete Products Ltd. installed two batching plants at Gabtali, Dhaka and one batching plant at Rupgonj, Narayangonj having capacity of producing considerable quantity of ready mix concrete.

The Ready Mix Concrete manufactured are delivered to the construction sites of the consumers who deals in erecting high rise building and other infrastructures through Transit Mixers/Agitators and concrete pumps. The company also established Concrete Block factory at Gabtali for producing paving blocks, partition wall blocks, ceiling blocks and Kerb stones of different sizes and shapes.

Mir Real Estate Ltd. has been established in March 2006 with a view to purchase, acquire or take lease of any area of land, buildings, structures etc. and developing them either individually or on Joint Venture basis into Residential Apartments, Commercial Complexes, Supermarkets, Hotels, Hospitals etc. of elegant style with modern amenities for the purposes of sale of the same to interested buyers/organizations/companies etc. The company has already completed and disposed of residential apartment at Gulshan & Dhanmondi and now developing residential complexes at Dhanmondi, Banani, Shamoly & Uttara.
